You’re invited to stay as long as you want! Some visitors make an entire day of their stay, while others hop over for lunch and a tour. Plan ahead for a special history tour followed by lunch or dinner at Freeport Marina. Enjoy a Scrap Iron (drink) while you relax to live music and great company. Ask about our overnight accommodations.

Aside from appropriate attire, consider bringing along a camera, cash/credit cards, driver’s license (or state issued ID), and personal medications. We have a fully stocked general store for extras like bug spray, sun tan lotion, and more.

While the history tours are really designed for ages 12+, all ages are welcome! Freeport Marina is a family-friendly place with a restaurant, bar, activities outpost, working marina, and general store.

For marina and restaurant operations, we accept cash and major credit cards, including VISA, Master Card, and Discover.

Freeport Marina and Daufuskie Crab Company are casual. We welcome guests in whatever attire they feel most comfortable. For outdoor activities (depending on season), we recommend a good pair of tennis shoes for exploring the Island. Hats and flip flops welcome.
